Reinvestment is happening in our urban communities like never before—through public/private redevelopment projects that are changing the face of our neighborhoods and creating new opportunities for residents. Bold City was created to help make sure our youth don’t get left behind, to help level the playing field and promote greater equity.

We’re starting with a focus on the redeveloping Sunnydale/Visitacion Valley neighborhood in San Francisco.
We grew up here. Our families live here. We’re excited for the future, and committed to ensuring youth and young adults here have opportunities for education and mentorship. So they can learn job skills, go to college, become future leaders, entrepreneurs, and enjoy a bold future.

As Bold City Coffee grows, we plan to open our own coffee cafes, where local young adults can gain valuable work experience… and our redeveloping neighborhood can have a safe, welcoming and comfortable place for neighbors to gather.

Our goal is to branch out into other redeveloping urban neighborhoods, to provide opportunities for youth and young adults – and help build strong communities – and strong cities – for all.
A Social Enterprise
Greater Life Church, San Francisco
Our members and leadership grew up in the neighborhood and we serve here, providing direct service to the community through events, fund-raising drives, and more. Our small church, part of the international Foursquare Church network, conceived Bold City Coffee in 2022 as a business-as-mission social enterprise that extends our efforts to support youth in our community.
